The commercial food system often operates against to the interest of both consumers and farmers. The continued industrialization of food is not inevitable. We can provide nutrition for everyone and reduce environmental impact. This is what I’m thinking so far:
- Helena Farm Stop: Is it possible to build profitable, scalable retail stores that offer only local and seasonal food?
- The Soil Accord: How can investors provide capital and land to farmers with regenerative growing practices directly?

I spent almost five years working for Navistar and Navistar Defense, a truck and engine manufacturer. I supported the launch of the MRAP program in 2007 and led the program management of Foreign Military Sales.
